Event Details

16 and up who are applying for their first driver's license in New York. The course allows you to complete your DMV prelicensing requirement. You must complete this course before you sign up for your road test at the DMV. It is a mandatory course for New York State Permit Holders ages 16 and up. You will not be able to schedule or take your road test if you have not completed the 5-hour pre-licensing course and received an MV-278 completion certificate. There is no formal exam and fee will be collected at the start of class. Please register.

Registration will open on Saturday, September 6 at 9:30 AM. Registration can be completed online, over the phone, or in person.

Program fee: $40 | Patrons can pay cash, check or money order
