Take Your Child to the Library Day

Libraries are an ideal place for children to play, discover, make friends, and have fun. Whether you are a regular, an old friend, or we haven’t met yet, seize the opportunity to come visit. Learn more about our classes, free museum passes, discount tickets, collections, 1000 Books Before Kindergarten program, resources for caregivers, and much more! We’ll also have some simple activities on hand that promote pre/early literacy skills, encourage creativity, foster a love of reading, and are just plain fun. Caregivers are a child’s first teacher and we are here to help with this important job!
